23 November 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the second interim report (FCCC/SBI/2009/14) of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) on the progress made in carrying out the Poznan Strategic Programme on Technology Transfer.The report follows on from a progress report presented by the GEF to the 30th session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI 30) and provides an update to SBI 31 on GEF progress between May and November 2009. The report presents an overview of: the implementation of the technology needs assessment project; technology transfer pilot projects; and long-term implementation of the strategic programme. A list of prioritized technology transfer pilot projects is contained in Annex I.[The Report]
