International Congress to Address Anthropogenic Impacts on the Marine Environment

September 2008: The International Congress on ‘Anthropogenic Impacts on the Marine Environment’ is scheduled to take place in Ismal, Algeria, from 27-29 October 2008. The themes to be addressed during the Congress are: the contribution of human activities to the marine and coastal imbalance; means and tools to avoid or mitigate anthropogenic impacts; and global and regional oceanographic data analysis related to the influence of human activities on the marine system.
